Welcome to Anglo-Prussian Hops

Our name has several multiple meanings relating to the historical and geographical aspects of the hopyard.

The hopyard is situated between Shawville (Québec), an area settled by Anglo immigrants and Ladysmith an area settled by Prussian immigrants both from the mid to late 19th century. Our name also recognizes the significance that the English and German culture’s had not only in the development of beer, but also in the growing and utilization of hops in beer.

And finally our name, Anglo-Prussian, best exemplifies the ancestral background of its owners.
